Sam Nicklin

Business Administrator

Meet Sam!

He's currently taking over practice operations and will soon be the backbone of Each Speech Pear Plum Speech Pathology, allowing Erin to do what she does best - support little people and their families. As the husband of our director, Erin, he plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our practice. With a focus on back-end operations, financial management, and administrative tasks, he keeps our practice running efficiently and effectively.

Sam handles a range of responsibilities, from managing finances and budgeting to overseeing administrative processes and ensuring compliance with regulations. His meticulous attention to detail and dedication to excellence ensure that our practice operates at its best, allowing our team to focus on providing exceptional care to our clients.

Outside of his Business Administrator role, Sam works as an engineer and is an all-star dad who takes the kids when Erin is offering after-school therapy appointments. When he is not juggling his multiple hats, Sam enjoys a quirky craft beer, rugby union and going on 'adventures' with the kids. Sam brings a well-rounded perspective to our practice.

With his expertise and commitment to our practice's success, Sam plays a key role in helping us achieve our mission of providing high-quality, holistic care to our clients and their families.

Assessments & Reports

We can comprehensively assess your child using a combination of clinical observations and standardised tests, along with your completed questionnaires, to identify your child’s strengths, and areas requiring support.

This comprehensive approach ensures that we create a personalised intervention plan that empowers your child to thrive.

We produce clear and comprehensive reports that provide families, care providers, and educators with insights and strategies they can put into practice in any environment, whether at home, at school, or in the community. These reports can be valuable evidence for your child’s diagnostic journey, or for NDIS access, meetings and plan reviews.

So much more than lisps.

Supporting little ones to thrive.

Speech

AAC

AAC is any form of effective communication for people with a range of conditions who have significant difficulties speaking.

Language

The ability to both use and understand words and sentences in both verbal and written contexts.

Play

Learning to read and write is a crucial part of a child's development and allows a child to fully participate in their education and learning.

Feeding

The ability to accept a variety of different foods as well as volume of foods, the ability to chew foods and to swallow them safely.

Social Communication

How we use language when interacting with other people. This can include taking turns in a conversation, changing or maintaining a topic appropriately, reading body cues and using and understand tone of voice.
